AAAAaaAAaaaAAH! We're late, we're late. For a very important date! (Well, for Jozi.js that is). The double whammy of moving a week earlier (due to devconf.co.za) and on a Wednesday (the usual Thursday is a public holiday) has thrown our planning into chaos! But never fear: Jozi.js will still be happening this month! We're really looking forward to have Nozi teach us about accessibility and the web, and Mike will be talking to us about redux from the trenches. Join us for some drinks, pizza and JavaScript!
Agenda:
Perspective: An ode to Accessibility
Nozi Nindie (@nozi_nindie)
How often do we think about people living with all kinds of disabilities? Now, how often do we think about how they use the products we design? The answer tends to be 'not often enough' but that's okay because once we know why it's important, hopefully we can all be champions of accessibility because at the end of the day, it's all about perspective.
Real-world Redux (and other stories)
Mike Geyser (@mikegeyser)
Come and enjoy some tales of redux and friends, straight from the front line. This will be an informal session, so bring all of your questions!
